CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

- All telehealth sessions are conducted in a private space using Zoom Professional, ensuring a high level of encryption and confidentiality.
- All records are stored in a locked filing cabinet or digitally in a password protected file or system.
- All client information is confidential, unless there is an immediate risk of harm to the client or another individual, the client provides written consent to share information (e.g., with another health professional), or communication is required for Medicate rebates (i.e., treatment progress report to the referring GP).
- Alyssa is required by law to provide access to records if provided with a subpoena. She will discuss any access with you.
- Clients can request access to their records.
PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

- All session fees are due at the end of the session. Payments and Medicare rebates will be automatically processed in a secure manner (Halaxy) following the session. A receipt will be provided for private health claiming; Alyssa is unable to process these rebates.
- Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours before the session incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or non-attendance incurs a cancellation fee equivalent to the session cost. Cancellation fees may be waived in extenuating circumstances following discussion with Alyssa.
